LUMIX S9

“I'm shooting this video in manual mode on the Lumix S9, which has a base ISO of 640 when you're shooting in V-Log and you can see I'm completely overexposed.”

“I did several high-speed burst tests using the Lumix S9, and it did a great job keeping Rihanna in in focus.”

“And when I did all my test samples with the S9, I was like, man, I really missed having it.”

“Even when I previewed the footage on the back of the cameras, which were the Lumix S9 in that particular shoot, they were like, "Man, this looks unbelievable."”

“Now if you plan on doing any sort of photography this lens feels great on the Lumix S9. It does add a little bit of weight to it being that it's a metal lens but I love the form factor and the handling if you're happy using manual focus is beautiful.”

“I've never had any sort of weird banding or artifacts with the Lumix S9. It's my main travel camera for that very reason.”

“For the Lumix S9, which will be the mirrorless camera for this video, it can shoot up to 10-bit 6K open gate in Panasonic V-Log.”

“I love the Lumix S9 for photography even though weirdly it has some things that just don't make sense for photographers like the lack of an electronic viewfinder and also the lack of a mechanical shutter.”

“So obviously this lens fits the Lumix S9 very well, but sounds great.”

“On my S9, I had to add one on a small rig grip, so that is nice.”

“This is probably one of my favorite cameras. It's the Lumix S9, despite some of its glaring weaknesses, like no mechanical shutter and the fact that there's no electronic viewfinder.”

“And then on this camera, I have it recording my LUMIX S9, which I will go ahead and factory reset so we can start at absolutely baseline settings so that I can show you guys some of the things that I really find important to change, especially when it comes to Lumix cameras specifically.”
